Over the past couple of years of researching reverse mortgages and building this website, we’ve developed a substantial list of worthwhile academic research, consumer information documents, calculators, tools and other reverse mortgage resources. All of this information is freely available to anyone willing to devote enough time on the search engines.

However, we thought it would be useful to bring this knowledge together in a single, searchable directoryreverse mortgage info and allow visitors to suggest additional worthwhile resources for inclusion.

We’re calling the directory the Reverse Mortgage Knowledgebase. The focus is not on websites but, rather, on specific reverse mortgage info documents, tools or other worthwhile resources. Entries are categorized as follows (with further subcategories where necessary): academic research, consumer information, audio-visual tools, reverse mortgage calculators, other countries, and other tools.

If you are looking for information on reverse mortgages, this will be a great resource for you. If you have a resource that you think would be a valuable addition, simply visit the Knowledgebase and click on “submit link”. All suggestions will be reviewed by a human editor for quality. We ask that you follow these submission guidelines:

• all links must be to items that are free; books or research reports for which there is a charge will not be accepted
• the focus is on linking to specific documents and tools, not on listing reverse mortgage websites;
• links to useful marketing documents are acceptable and will be categorized under “Consumer Information” and “Marketing Materials”
• documents should be at least five pages long and of good quality - do not submit links for items such as single sheet “fact sheets”;
• links to reverse mortgage calculators are accepted. Unique calculators will be highlighted;
